Areopagus

Also known as: Areiopag, Areopagos

The bare marble rock northwest of the Acropolis was once the seat of Athens highest court - and the place where, according to the Book of Acts, Saint Paul addressed the Athenians about the Unknown God. Today a free viewpoint with the finest view of the Parthenon, especially at sunset.
