Pantanoso Creek

The Arroyo Pantanoso is a small creek in western Montevideo whose Spanish name simply means "swampy" — a straightforward reference to the marshy, wetland character of its banks. Little is documented about any public access, riverside infrastructure, or cultural significance. It functions primarily as an urban waterway on the city's western fringe.
