Asakusabashi

Asakusabashi Station sits in the southern part of Tokyo's Taitō ward, serving as a transfer point between JR East rail lines and the Toei Asakusa subway line. Opened in 1932 during the Shōwa era, it provides access to a district traditionally known for wholesale trade in toys, dolls, and festival goods. For most visitors it functions as a transit stop between Akihabara and Asakusa rather than a destination in its own right.
