Observation Tower Burgstall

This 26-metre observation tower stands on the 613-metre Burgstall summit near Kirchberg ob der Donau, roughly 30 kilometres northwest of Linz. The Danube cuts a deep valley far below the forested hilltop, and on clear days the tower's uppermost platform offers an expansive view across the Schlögener Schlinge meander and the rolling uplands of Upper Austria. The tower is typically reached on foot via forest trails, making it a straightforward half-day excursion.
