The Bärenkopf is a 1,476 m secondary summit of the Stuiben massif, part of the Hochgrat ridge along the northern edge of the Allgäu Alps, south of Immenstadt in the Oberallgäu district of Bavaria. It sits at a typical Allgäu transition between dense mountain forest and open ridgeline, making it a rewarding and relatively accessible objective. Most hikers reach the summit as part of a Hochgrat ridge traverse, a route manageable for sure-footed families. The summit offers open views north across the Alpine foreland and south toward the higher peaks of the Allgäu Alps.
