Auerkamp

Auerkamp is one of the Kampen summits in the Tegernseer Bergen, a subgroup of the Bavarian Prealps south of Lake Tegernsee. The ridge, which continues to Brandkopf and Seekarkreuz, offers classic Prealp scenery of alpine meadows and open ridgeline. The ascent is manageable as a day hike from Tegernsee and rewards with sweeping views over the lake and the Bavarian foothills. Surefootedness is recommended, especially for those extending the route along the ridge toward Seekarkreuz.
