Balduinstein station

Balduinstein station is a classicist railway building on the Lahntalbahn line, situated directly on the bank of the Lahn river just north of the village of Balduinstein. It holds protected monument status as a Kulturdenkmal in Rhineland-Palatinate, making it one of the more architecturally distinguished stops along the route. The Lahntalbahn has served the narrow Lahn valley between Koblenz and Wetzlar since the 19th century. Today the station is used mainly by leisure visitors exploring the valley by bicycle or on foot along the riverside trails.
