Rathenow railway station

Rathenow railway station was built in 1870 as part of Brandenburg's expanding imperial-era rail network and is today a listed architectural monument in the Havelland district. Its brick station building is a characteristic example of Gründerzeit railway architecture from the Kaiserreich period. Around 3,300 passengers use it daily as a regional interchange — a modest but continuously active piece of local transport history.
