Scherfede station

Scherfede station sits in Rimbeck, a district of Warburg, and was a modestly important railway junction until the mid-20th century. From 1876 to 2001 it served as the branching point for the Scherfede–Holzminden line off the Upper Ruhr Valley Railway between Hagen and Kassel, significant enough to host its own locomotive depot. Today it functions as a simple stop on the Hagen–Kassel mainline, with little trace of its former operational scale.
