Surabaya Gubeng railway station

Surabaya Gubeng is the largest railway station in Surabaya and across East Java, serving as the main departure point for long-distance trains heading south and east — toward Yogyakarta, Malang, and Banyuwangi — while northbound trains toward Jakarta via Semarang use the separate Pasar Turi station. The building reflects the Dutch colonial-era railway infrastructure that once underpinned Surabaya's role as the most important trading port in the Dutch East Indies.
