Bald Mountain

Bald Mountain, at 11,943 feet (3,640 m) in Utah's Uinta Mountains, ranks among the most popular high-summit hikes in the state. The trailhead sits at Bald Mountain Pass — the highest paved road crossing in all of Utah — meaning hikers already begin well above treeline before the ascent proper.
