Church of Presentation of Virgin Mary in Wadowice

The Basilica of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary is a late-18th-century Baroque parish church in Wadowice, Lesser Poland, holding the title of Basilica minor within the Diocese of Kraków. Its articulated facade anchors the town's main square. Wadowice is inseparable from the legacy of Karol Wojtyła — the future Pope John Paul II — who was baptized in this very church in 1920 and worshipped here throughout his childhood.
