Avtovo
Saint Petersburg
Belorusskaya station on Moscow Metro's Circle Line (Kolzevaya) opened on 30 January 1952 and takes its name from the adjacent Belarussky railway terminal. The interior is a textbook example of Stalinist classicism: vaulted ceilings clad in white marble and elaborate mosaic panels depicting Belarusian folk life and culture line the platforms. Designated a regional cultural heritage site, it belongs to the generation of Moscow Metro stations deliberately designed as 'palaces of the people' — grand public spaces intended to elevate the daily commute into something monumental. The station operates daily from 05:25 to 01:00 and offers Wi-Fi access.
