Berlin Sportpalast

From 1910 to 1973, Berlin largest event hall stood on Potsdamer Strasse in Schoeneberg - venue for six-day cycle races, boxing matches, and Weimar-era concerts. In 1943 Goebbels delivered his Total War Speech here. Today nothing remains of the building; only a memorial plaque marks the site.
