Ben Vrackie

Ben Vrackie is an 841-metre hill in the Scottish Highlands, rising above the village of Moulin just north of Pitlochry in Perthshire. It holds a dual classification: as a Corbett — Scottish peaks between 762 and 914 metres — and as a Marilyn, meaning it stands as a distinctly prominent summit regardless of absolute elevation. The standard route from Moulin covers around 6 kilometres return through open heather moorland and boggy terrain, gaining roughly 600 metres of ascent. The summit rewards with wide views across the Tummel Valley, Loch Faskally, and the broader Grampian landscape, stretching toward the Cairngorms on clear days.
