Berliner Platz

Berliner Platz is an underground transit station in northwestern Essen city center, opened in 1981 as part of the Stadtbahn Essen network. It is one of three interchange points in the system where Stadtbahn and tram lines cross, currently operated by Ruhrbahn. Beyond its function as a commuter transfer hub, the station has no notable architectural or cultural distinguishing features.
