Botanischer Garten der Universität Ulm

The Botanical Garden of Ulm University sits on the Oberer Eselsberg directly adjacent to the university campus and has served as a scientific institution since its founding in 1981. Its extensive grounds cover around 28 hectares of open land planted with a wide range of species supporting university research and teaching. The standout feature is the tropical greenhouse complex at the upper entrance, housing plants from both lowland and montane rainforest environments. Open from March through October until 20:00 and in winter until 16:30, it works equally well as a quiet walk or a hands-on introduction to plant science.
