Bremen-Vegesack

Bremen-Vegesack station is a listed terminus (Kopfbahnhof) in the Vegesack district of Bremen, built in 1862 as part of the railway expansion into the Weser marshlands. As a terminus-style station — where trains must reverse direction — it represents an increasingly rare station type in the German rail network. The building is protected as a cultural monument of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and is fully wheelchair accessible under DB Netz AG operation.
