Metro Access
The Bundestag U-Bahn station is a stop on line U5 in Berlin's Regierungsviertel, opened on 8 August 2009 as part of the U5 extension towards Hauptbahnhof. It sits directly in front of the Paul-Löbe-Haus, one of the Bundestag's parliamentary office buildings, and takes its name from the German parliament. The station's design is characteristic of the early-2000s U5 extension: functional, bright, and fully wheelchair accessible. Positioned within walking distance of the Reichstag, the Chancellery, and the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus, it serves mainly parliamentarians, government staff, and organised visitor groups to Germany's political centre.
