Patriarshiy Bridge
Moscow
Expocenter is Russia's oldest and largest trade-fair operator, based on the bank of the Moskva River in the Krasnaya Presnya district. The grounds comprise nine exhibition halls and a congress pavilion and host around one hundred trade fairs each year. The first pavilion opened in 1977 for an industrial exhibition; the complex expanded substantially in the 1990s and 2000s. For casual visitors without trade-show credentials the site itself offers little, but the adjacent World Trade Center tower and the Moskva embankment make the surroundings urbanistically interesting.
