Çamlıca Tower

Istanbul

The Kuecuek Camlica TV Tower is the tallest structure in Turkey at 369 metres and one of the tallest broadcasting towers in the world. Opened in June 2021 after years of construction, it rises from the 218-metre Kuecuek Camlica hill on Istanbul's Asian side, so the combined silhouette towers almost 600 metres above the city. It replaces around a dozen individual transmitter masts that had cluttered the Camlica skyline for decades, consolidating broadcasting into a single landmark. Inside the upper section visitors find observation decks looking across the Bosphorus, the historic peninsula, and the Princes Islands, along with restaurants and a revolving dining room. The easiest approach is a taxi or shuttle up from Acibadem metro; pick a clear day or sunset for the best view.
