Ostankino Tower
Moscow
The Olympiaturm in Munich's Olympiapark is a 291-metre reinforced-concrete television tower built for the 1972 Summer Olympics, completed in 1968 — four years before the Games that became internationally remembered for the attack on the Israeli team. At 185 metres, the tower's rotating restaurant completes one full revolution per hour, offering views across the Alps, the old city, and the Olympic Stadium below. A lift takes visitors to the observation deck at 190 metres, where on clear days the Zugspitze is visible on the horizon.
1968 transmission tower with viewing platform and revolving restaurant — clear Alpine views on Föhn days.
