Iglesia de San Juan Bautista de Barbalos

The Iglesia de San Juan Bautista de Barbalos is a Romanesque parish church nestled within Salamanca's historic city centre, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site designated in 1988. It belongs to the constellation of medieval churches built during the period of Christian Reconquista, when Salamanca grew into a major ecclesiastical and university city on the Iberian Peninsula.
