Julio Robles

Julio Robles (1950–2004) was a Salamanca-born bullfighter who ranked among Spain's most celebrated toreros during the 1970s and 1980s. A serious goring in Salamanca's bullring in 1983 ended his career in the ring. This public memorial in his hometown commemorates him as a local icon of the corrida tradition.
