Plaza de Toros de Salamanca - La Glorieta

La Glorieta is Salamanca's bullring, opened on September 11, 1893, on Avenida San Agustín in the heart of Castile and León. Built in 1892 in an eclectic historicist style, the three-tiered structure combines stone, brick, and wrought iron, seating 10,858 spectators around a ring 54 metres in diameter. Salamanca is one of Spain's most respected bullfighting strongholds, and La Glorieta serves as the focal point of the annual Feria de Salamanca each September, drawing aficionados from across the country. For visitors interested in the cultural and architectural history of the corrida, the building itself — with its layered arcade facades — is as notable as the spectacle it hosts.
