Lindenthaler Tierpark

Lindenthaler Tierpark is a free-admission, eco-minded parkland zoo in Cologne's western Lindenthal district, where visitors can get up close to Highland cattle, fallow deer, peacocks, and a variety of other animals in open, naturalistic enclosures. The absence of barred cages and the spacious park setting give it a distinctly different feel from conventional city zoos. It's a popular spot for families and local residents alike — opening hours shift seasonally from 9 am to as late as 8 pm in summer, and admission is always free.
