The Minnesota Music Hall of Fame Museum occupies New Ulm's former public library building at First North Street and Broadway, a small city in southern Minnesota known for its German-American heritage. Founded in 1988, the museum preserves memorabilia, photographs, and induction records honoring musicians and groups from across the state. Exhibits span regional polka and folk traditions through to contemporary Minnesota artists. The museum keeps regular hours during summer months and opens by special request in winter — worth calling ahead before visiting off-season.
