St. Martins Brunnen

The St. Martins Brunnen is a basalt fountain artwork erected in 1995 in Cologne's old town, named after the nearby Romanesque church of Groß St. Martin. Details about its design and sculptor are not documented here. It functions as urban street furniture within the dense historic fabric between the cathedral, the Rhine waterfront, and the old town.
