The A1 is a approximately 70-kilometre trunk road in Northern Ireland linking Belfast to Newry at the Irish border, where it continues as the N1 toward Dublin. It is the primary road corridor between the two largest cities on the island of Ireland, but holds no tourist or cultural significance of its own.
