Adelheidisplatz

Adelheidisplatz is a small square in Bonn, named after Adelheid of Vilich — a medieval abbess of Vilich Abbey near Bonn who died around 1015 and was later canonized. Adelheid is regarded as one of the most significant Rhenish saints of the early Middle Ages and is credited with founding the region's first school for girls. Beyond its namesake, little verified information about the square's current character or layout is available.
