Aqua

Aqua Tower is a 262-meter skyscraper in Chicago's Lakeshore East neighborhood, completed in 2009 and designed by architect Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang. The building's most recognizable feature is its cascading, irregularly undulating balconies — each floor's slab extends a different distance from the core, giving the facade a fluid, sculptural quality that set Gang's reputation on the international stage. The mixed-use tower contains residential units, a hotel, and a rooftop terrace offering expansive views across Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline.
