Bocksberg

The Bocksberg, at roughly 727 metres, is the local mountain of Hahnenklee-Bockswiese in the Upper Harz and one of Lower Saxony's most accessible year-round recreation peaks. A gondola connects the valley to the summit in all seasons: in winter the mountain offers ski runs and toboggan slopes, while summer brings well-marked hiking trails through classic Harz spruce forest and moorland. The open summit provides a broad panoramic view across the forested Harz ridgelines and surrounding valleys.
