Azat River

The Azat is a left-bank tributary of the Araks river, flowing through the Armenian provinces of Ararat and Kotayk southeast of Yerevan. Its valley cuts through volcanic highland terrain, offering basic riverside walking along largely undeveloped banks. Tourist infrastructure along the river is minimal.
