Herborn station is a Neorenaissance-style railway building listed as a cultural monument in Hesse, situated on the Dill line — a section of the former Deutz–Gießen railway in central Hesse. The building dates to the Gründerzeit era and stands out architecturally among the smaller stations along this regional corridor. Around 2,000 passengers pass through daily, mostly commuters and students using it as a transfer point between Siegen and Gießen.
