Bahnhof Hüinghausen

Bahnhof Hüinghausen is the main station of the Sauerländer Kleinbahn, a narrow-gauge heritage railway in the Märkisches Sauerland region, operated by the preservation society Märkische Museums-Eisenbahn e. V. (MME). The society was founded to rescue narrow-gauge rolling stock from the Sauerland's industrial past — locomotives and carriages that would otherwise have been scrapped. On operating days, visitors can ride the historic line, inspect the vehicles up close, and watch volunteers carry out active restoration work. Rather than a static display, the site functions as a working railway kept alive by enthusiasts.
