Klaipėda train station

Klaipėda train station is the main railway hub of Lithuania's only seaport, a city known as Memel until its incorporation into Lithuania in 1923. The station building dates to 1875, constructed when the city was still part of the Prussian province of East Prussia, and its Gründerzeit-era character reflects that imperial German infrastructure heritage. As the western terminus of the main line from Vilnius, it remains the city's primary long-distance rail connection today.
