Mykolaiv railway station

Mykolaiv railway station is the main long-distance rail hub of the Ukrainian regional capital Mykolaiv, connecting the southern Black Sea hinterland to the rest of the country. First opened in 1908 as the city's second station during the late tsarist era, the current terminal building dates from a 1987 Soviet-era rebuild in a plain late-modernist style. For travelers it functions primarily as a transit stop on routes between Odesa and inland Ukraine.
