Spaichingen station

Spaichingen station sits at the southern edge of town at 676 metres above sea level and opened on 15 July 1869 as part of the Rottweil–Tuttlingen section of the Plochingen–Immendingen line. It briefly gained importance in 1928 when the Heubergbahn branch line began operating here, making it a junction station — though that branch was closed again in 1966. Three platform tracks serve regional passenger services today, with the island platform accessible via a pedestrian footbridge.
