Bay

Bay is an underground station on the Bloor-Danforth line of the Toronto Transit Commission, sitting at the intersection of Bloor Street and Bay Street adjacent to the upscale Yorkville district. Its most distinctive feature is its two-level layout: the lower platform was built during a planned loop expansion that was never completed, leaving it as one of Toronto's few genuine ghost stations. That abandoned lower level has made Bay a recurring film location — production crews regularly use its eerily empty platform for thriller and science-fiction shoots. The station also serves a practical curiosity: it houses the TTC's central lost-and-found, where items recovered across the entire subway network are brought daily.
