Bedřich Smetana Museum

Also known as: Smetana Museum

Right beside Charles Bridge on the Vltava embankment, this museum commemorates Bedřich Smetana (1824–1884), composer of Má vlast (My Homeland) and its famous movement The Moldau. The Neo-Renaissance building, once the Prague waterworks, has housed the composer's scores, letters, and instruments since 1936.
