Bischof

The Bischof is a 2,033-metre summit in the Bavarian Prealps, rising south of the town of Penzberg. Its name likely refers to the peak's bishop's-mitre silhouette as seen from the surrounding valleys. The ascent passes through alpine meadows and rocky terrain, rewarding hikers with an open panoramic view over the foothills and, on clear days, toward the Zugspitze massif and the main Alpine ridge.
