Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey - Nord

The Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey is a 4,112-metre peak in the Mont Blanc massif on the Italian side of the Alps, rising immediately south of Mont Blanc itself. It is considered one of the most demanding four-thousanders in the Alps: the north ridge is a serious high-alpine route over rock and ice with significant exposure throughout. Alpinists typically depart from the Rifugio Monzino (2,590 m) near Courmayeur. The summit rewards with sweeping views across the Mont Blanc main chain and into the surrounding valleys. Strictly a route for experienced mountaineers equipped for glacier and technical rock terrain.
