Wojsławice Arboretum
Wrocław
Bodnant Garden is a 32-hectare botanical garden and arboretum in the Conwy Valley of North Wales, roughly 8 kilometres south of Llandudno Junction. Laid out in 1874 by industrialist Henry Pochin and gifted to the National Trust in 1949, the garden climbs terraced slopes above the River Hiraethlyn and is home to some of the tallest dawn redwoods in the United Kingdom alongside one of Europe's most significant rhododendron collections. The famous laburnum arch — a tunnel of golden-rain blooms in late May — has become one of the most photographed garden images in Britain. Below the formal terraces, a wilder dell follows the riverbank through ancient tree ferns and towering conifers, offering a striking contrast in atmosphere. Admission is charged; the garden is open daily and partially accessible by pushchair and wheelchair.
