Bolebroke Castle

Bolebroke Castle is a late-medieval hunting lodge dating to the 15th century, situated north of the village of Hartfield in East Sussex — despite the metadata, it lies well outside Brighton and Hove. English Heritage lists it as a Grade II* structure, denoting exceptional national architectural or historic interest. Originally built as a rural hunting retreat, it survives as one of the few remaining examples of a Tudor-era English hunting lodge.
