Brighton railway station

Brighton railway station is a Victorian terminus just north of the city centre, sheltered by a sweeping 19th-century steel-and-glass trainshed. It serves as the southern endpoint of the Brighton Main Line from London and the starting point for the West Coastway and East Coastway lines along the Sussex coast. The station is listed Grade II*, a designation reserved for particularly significant historic structures — fewer than six percent of listed buildings in England attain this tier. The arched roof canopy remains the station's most striking architectural feature and greets every arriving passenger.
