Breitscheidplatz

Also known as: Gutenbergplatz, Auguste-Viktoria-Platz

The central square of West Berlin City - between Kurfürstendamm, Budapester Strasse, and Tauentzienstrasse. Dominated by the bombed ruin of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the "hollow tooth", preserved as a memorial. On the 2016 Christmas market Berlin lost 13 people in the truck attack - today a golden-splinter memorial set into the pavement.
