Capital Tower

Capital Tower is a 254-metre, 52-storey skyscraper in Singapore's Shenton Way-Tanjong Pagar financial district, completed in 2000. It remains among the city's tallest towers. Originally planned as the POSB Bank headquarters, ownership shifted mid-construction to property developer CapitaLand, which gave the building its current name. The slightly inclined twin-shaft glass-and-aluminium facade is a recognisable feature of the downtown skyline. There is no public observation deck, but the tower is a fixture of Singapore's skyline silhouette. Visitors get the best view from the Marina Bay waterfront, or right at street level emerging from the Tanjong Pagar MRT station next door.
