Kainsberg

Kainsberg is a forested hill near Battenberg an der Eder in the Hessian hinterland, situated within the broader Kellerwald-Edersee region of central Germany. The summit offers views across the rolling mixed-forest landscape of northern Hesse and the Eder valley. It is accessible via local hiking trails and makes for a quiet half-day excursion away from the better-known Edersee reservoir.
