Abarca's Palace, Salamanca
RenaissancePalaceListed Building

Also known as: Karakoy PALACE
Karaköy Palas is an early 20th-century prestige building situated in Istanbul's Karaköy waterfront district, at the southern edge of the historic Galata quarter. Its facade displays neo-Byzantine detailing — rounded arches, ornamental friezes, and a strict symmetrical composition — characteristic of the late Ottoman period's approach to monumental civic and commercial architecture. The building currently houses bank offices and is not publicly accessible inside, making its chief interest the streetscape it anchors rather than any interior experience.
