Thun-Hohenštejnský palác

The Thun-Hohenstein Palace is a Baroque aristocratic residence in Prague's Malá Strana district, constructed around 1710 for the Bohemian noble family of Thun-Hohenstein. Its facade is characteristic of Central European High Baroque, part of the dense cluster of palatial residences that line the slopes beneath Prague Castle. Built during a period when Malá Strana was dominated by Habsburg nobility and ecclesiastical patrons, the palace reflects the wealth and architectural ambition of Bohemia's early 18th-century aristocracy. Listed as a Czech cultural monument, it can be appreciated from the street as a well-preserved example of Baroque palatial design, though its interior is not open to the public.
